Sridhar Babu invites global investors to join Telangana Rising growth vision

Hyderabad: Telangana Industries and IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu on Tuesday invited global investors to partner with the State in its long-term development plan, “Telangana Rising.” He extended the invitation while inaugurating the India Pavilion at the World Economic Forum in Davos. With this move, Sridhar Babu invites global investors, aiming for significant partnerships in Telangana’s growth.

Addressing international industrialists and stakeholders, Sridhar Babu said Telangana has become a national benchmark in Ease of Doing Business. He urged companies to leverage the State’s policy-driven, business-ready ecosystem and actively join its economic transformation.

Vision 2047: A roadmap for ₹3 lakh crore economy

The Minister announced that Telangana aims to contribute 10% to India’s GDP by 2047. “Our government’s approach is not to wait for the future, but to build it,” he said. He underlined that the strategy is based on institutional reforms and future-ready policies, as Sridhar Babu also seeks active interest from global investors with an invitation to be part of the State’s bold roadmap.

He revealed that a detailed roadmap has been created to scale Telangana’s economy to USD 3 trillion by 2047. The Vision Document was developed with input from experts, industry leaders, and citizens. It prioritises key sectors such as life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, electronics, semiconductors, IT and ITeS, aerospace, defence, textiles, renewable energy, and green technology.

Sridhar Babu noted that Telangana secured ₹2.5 lakh crore in investments over the last two years. He confirmed that the government remains committed to sustaining this growth and creating large-scale employment for youth. Furthermore, as Sridhar Babu invites global investors, he highlights Telangana’s continued momentum in attracting world-class investment.

To enhance Telangana’s global visibility, the Minister announced the formal launch of Life Sciences Policy 2.0 and the Telangana AI Innovation Hub (TAIH) from Davos.
