CM Revanth Reddy promises Adilabad airport, rapid industrial growth

Adilabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday announced that construction of a new airport in Adilabad will begin within a year, as part of the government’s broader plan to transform the district into an industrial hub.

Speaking at a massive public meeting at Indira Priyadarshini ground, Revanth laid foundation stones for development works worth ₹18.7 crore. The event was part of the Public Governance Victory Celebrations.

“Politics must end after elections. Governance must take over,” the Chief Minister said, asserting his focus on inclusive and regional development. “We are bringing Airbus to Adilabad. The most backward district will now see rapid progress,” he declared.

University planned, blueprint for Adilabad within two months

Revanth Reddy announced plans to establish a university in Indravelli and directed officials to prepare a dedicated development blueprint for Adilabad within two months.

He also mentioned the upcoming Telangana Rising Global Summit and highlighted the “Telangana Rising – 2047” documentary as a long-term vision document for state development.

“Adilabad’s development is my guarantee,” the Chief Minister said, promising accelerated infrastructure and industrial investments in the region.
