Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will represent Telangana at the World Economic Forum Annual Meetings 2026, scheduled to be held in Davos.
On Monday morning, the Chief Minister offered prayers at the Sammakka–Saralamma gaddelu at Medaram. After completing the rituals, he travelled by helicopter to Hyderabad at 8 am. Subsequently, he will depart for Davos from Shamshabad Airport at 9.30 am.
The Telangana delegation accompanying the Chief Minister includes Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy. Government Special Secretaries Jayesh Ranjan and Sanjay Kumar are also part of the team. Chief Minister’s Special Secretary Ajit Reddy will accompany the delegation as well.
The four-day Davos summit will begin on January 20. During the conference, the Chief Minister will hold meetings with global CEOs, international investors and representatives from various sectors.
Davos WEF 2026 to focus on Telangana investment push
During Davos WEF 2026, Revanth Reddy will hold separate meetings at the Telangana Pavilion with leaders of major global companies. These include Google, Salesforce, Unilever, Honeywell, L’Oréal, Novartis, the Tata Group, DP World, Infosys and Cisco. He will also participate in multiple roundtable discussions.
Officials said the discussions will focus on investment opportunities in Telangana. Priority areas include information technology, artificial intelligence, life sciences and manufacturing. The talks will also cover industrial expansion and policy support.
The Chief Minister has directed officials to present the State’s long-term vision, branded as “Telangana Rising 2047,” at the global forum. Through this outreach, the government aims to strengthen Telangana’s position as a preferred global investment destination and attract long-term international partnerships.
