Hyderabad: Telangana Minister for Information Technology and Industries D. Sridhar Babu inaugurated the ICSI Southern India conference at the Telangana Contractors Cultural Club in Kondapur. The event marked the 50th Southern India Regional Conference of Company Secretaries 2026, organised by the Hyderabad Chapter of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
The Minister addressed more than 700 Company Secretaries from across Southern India. He appreciated their contribution to strengthening corporate governance, promoting transparency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing investor confidence.
Sridhar Babu said the Telangana Government remains committed to building a transparent, accountable, and investor-friendly business ecosystem. He added that the state’s approach aims to support sustainable economic growth and attract greater investments.

The Minister highlighted the important role of Company Secretaries in improving governance standards and reinforcing confidence among investors. Furthermore, he said their professional expertise supports responsible and compliant business practices.
