Hyderabad: Telangana DGP B. Shivadhar Reddy constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe woman IAS officer involved in two high-profile cases. One involves defamatory content against a woman IAS officer. The other concerns an obscene post of CM Revanth Reddy’s photo.
The move follows a complaint from the Telangana IAS Officers Association. They alleged media reports that demeaned a woman IAS officer. Based on their complaint, a case was registered with the CCS. Separately, on January 11, Congress leader Gulla Narasimha filed a complaint against Kavali Venkatesh. This was for allegedly sharing obscene photos of the Chief Minister in a WhatsApp group linked to Telangana Public TV.
