Hyderabad: The voter list revision programme in the Secunderabad Assembly constituency achieved 56.9% progress, officials said during a weekly review meeting with representatives of recognised political parties.
The Electoral Registration Officer chaired the meeting to review the Special Summary Revision-2026 exercise.
Officials distributed 1,71,987 enumeration forms by 10 am on July 29. They digitised 1,53,039 forms and achieved 56.9% progress.
Officials also digitised 62,031 records under the ASDD exercise. The process reached 23.06% progress.
Voter list revision review covers survey and digitisation
The Electoral Registration Officer urged eligible citizens whose names were missing from the electoral roll to apply through Form-6, Form-7 or Form-8. He said officials would verify every application in the field before approving it under Election Commission of India guidelines.
The meeting reviewed polling station rationalisation, the door-to-door survey, ASDD digitisation and the document checklist for notices. Officials also shared polling station-wise reports with political party representatives.
Officials instructed field staff to begin the stickering process immediately after completing the house-to-house survey. They also urged voters to submit completed enumeration forms to their Booth Level Officers or designated help desks without delay.
Assistant Electoral Registration Officers, municipal officials, tahsildars, police officials, the Election Superintendent and representatives of recognised political parties attended the meeting.
