Hyderabad: The State SC/ST Commission reviewed issues related to SC/ST employee welfare and service matters during a meeting held at the GHMC Head Office.
Commission Chairman B. Venkataiah chaired the review meeting.
Commission members K. Neela Devi, Rambabu Naik, K. Laxminarayana, J. Shankar and R. Praveen attended the meeting.
GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan, Additional Commissioners, Zonal Commissioners and Heads of Departments also participated.

Meanwhile, the Chairman reviewed several matters concerning the welfare of SC/ST employees and sanitation workers.
He stressed the need to ensure timely promotions for sanitation workers.
He also urged officials to speed up compassionate appointments for eligible family members of deceased employees.
Additionally, the Commission reviewed the implementation of various welfare measures.
Members directed officials to resolve pending issues within a fixed timeframe.
They stressed the importance of employee welfare and service-related matters.
The Commission also called for effective delivery of benefits to eligible personnel.
Officials assured the Commission that they would take steps to address the pending issues.
