Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday expressed deep grief over the Justice G Chandraiah demise.
Justice G. Chandraiah served as a former Judge of the combined Andhra Pradesh High Court and former Chairman of the Telangana Human Rights Commission.
In a statement, the Chief Minister recalled his contributions to the legal field and public service.
Revanth Reddy said Justice Chandraiah had served as standing counsel for various departments. He also worked as a member of the High Court Legal Services Committee and as government pleader.
The Chief Minister noted that Justice Chandraiah hailed from Timmapur in the erstwhile Adilabad district.

Revanth Reddy said Justice Chandraiah delivered several notable judgments related to social inequality and human rights violations.
He described the Justice G Chandraiah demise as an irreparable loss to the judiciary.
The Chief Minister conveyed condolences to the bereaved family. He also prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Justice Chandraiah was widely known for his role in addressing issues linked to human rights and social justice during his legal career.
