Bhatti Vikramarka says education key to ending social inequality

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Saturday emphasised that education remains the most effective tool to eliminate entrenched social inequalities and foster a more just society. He addressed the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Loyola Educational Institutions at Alwal in Medchal district.

He said the Telangana government is committed to delivering education that integrates both skills and core human values. Strong human capital, he stressed, is the backbone of sustained development.

Bhatti Vikramarka: Education with values vital for development

“Providing education enriched with skills as well as human values is the collective objective of the entire Cabinet under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy,” Bhatti stated. He highlighted that the Skill University at Bharat Future City is progressing rapidly. Moreover, the State is transforming 100 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) into advanced technology centres to create employment and boost Telangana’s GDP.

To directly address inequality, the government has launched Young India Integrated Residential Schools. These campuses, each spread over 25 acres and costing ₹200 crore, aim to provide international-standard education to students from all social groups. So far, 100 schools have received approval, and construction is moving forward swiftly.

Referring to the ongoing CPEC survey which covers social, economic, educational, employment, political, and caste dimensions—he said it has reaffirmed the urgent need for systemic reform. Countries that invested in human capital, he noted, show the clearest path to long-term development and global leadership.

He lauded Loyola Academy for staying true to its founding mission despite changing generations, technologies, and educational trends. “Loyola stands as proof that education driven by purpose can have an enduring impact,” Bhatti said.

Government Advisor K. Keshava Rao, former MLA Jalgam Venkata Rao, Mainampally Hanumantha Rao, and other dignitaries also attended the programme.
