Revanth inaugurates ₹35.50 crore eco-park and green development projects

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy inaugurated eco-park development projects worth ₹35.50 crore, including works at the Eco Park in Rangareddy district and several environmental infrastructure projects across Telangana.

The Chief Minister formally launched development works at the Gurranguda Reserve Forest. The project, executed at a cost of ₹17.84 crore, forms part of the government’s efforts to strengthen environmental conservation and eco-tourism infrastructure.

In addition, Revanth Reddy virtually inaugurated a series of eco-park development projects worth ₹17.66 crore in multiple districts across the state.

Eco-park development projects span multiple districts

The newly inaugurated projects cover Nizamabad, Kothagudem, Hanumakonda, Medak, Mahabubnagar, Mulugu, Narayanpet, Bhupalpally, Sangareddy, Rangareddy and Warangal districts.

These initiatives include the development of urban parks, eco-parks and environmental infrastructure. Furthermore, the projects focus on wildlife conservation, zoo modernisation and the construction of residential facilities linked to forest and environmental services.

Officials said the works aim to improve public access to green spaces while strengthening conservation efforts across Telangana.

The eco-park development projects form part of the state’s broader strategy to promote sustainable development and protect natural resources.

Moreover, the government expects the projects to enhance biodiversity conservation, improve recreational facilities and support eco-tourism activities. The initiatives also seek to strengthen environmental awareness and create improved infrastructure in forest and wildlife areas.

With the inauguration of these projects, the government aims to expand green infrastructure and improve environmental management across several districts.
