Hyderabad: The death of a student under suspicious circumstances at Tejaswi School in Nayeemnagar, Hanumakonda, triggered public outrage on Thursday.

Banoth Surjeet Prem (9), a class 4 student and resident of Gundlasingaram, collapsed suddenly at the school in the morning. Staff rushed him to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brain dead. Soon after, the boy’s relatives and student union leaders gathered at the school and demanded that a murder case be filed against the management. They also sought ₹50 lakh as ex-gratia for the family, holding the school responsible for negligence.
