Ponguleti rebuttal targets Harish Rao and KTR criticism

Hyderabad: Revenue and Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy rebuttal to allegations by BRS leaders intensified on Wednesday, with rejecting claims made by T. Harish Rao and K. T. Rama Rao.

Addressing a media briefing at the Secretariat, the minister said opposition leaders were making unfounded allegations against the Congress government. He attended the briefing along with Ministers Seethakka and Ponnam Prabhakar, MPs Anil Kumar Yadav and Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, and several MLAs.

He criticised the BRS leadership, including K. Chandrasekhar Rao, and alleged that they were attempting to deflect attention from issues during their tenure. He accused them of spreading misleading narratives about the current administration.

Ponguleti rebuttal counters opposition allegations

During the briefing, Ponguleti rebuttal focused on issues related to Nadargul, Vattinagulapalli and Kotwalguda. He said the government had evidence to counter the opposition’s claims and maintained that facts would be presented to clarify the situation.

He also stated that the government was compiling detailed records of alleged irregularities during the previous administration. According to him, these included land-related issues and governance lapses.

He said the process of placing these details in the public domain would begin in phases. He added that the government remained committed to transparency and accountability while addressing the allegations.
