MJPTBC degree admissions open for 2026–27 academic year

Hyderabad: Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Telangana Backward Classes Welfare (MJPTBC) degree admissions opened for the 2026–27 academic year, with officials inviting applications from Intermediate pass students.

MJPTBC secretary Badugu Saidulu said eligible students can apply for admission into residential degree colleges across the state. He congratulated MJPTBC students for securing good results in the recent Intermediate examinations.

Students who studied Intermediate in MJPTBC institutions can apply through their respective college principals. Meanwhile, students from other institutions must submit applications online through the official portals.

MJPTBC degree admissions open from April 20 to May 10

Applications will be accepted from April 20 to May 10. Officials will allot seats based on Intermediate marks and course preferences.

The institutions offer various regular degree programmes such as B.Sc, B.Com and B.A. In addition, they provide specialised courses including B.Sc (Physical & Life Sciences), BBA, BFT, Animation and VFX.

Saidulu said 30-degree colleges are available under MJPTBC across Telangana. He added that many students from these institutions secured placements in previous years.

He also stated that colleges provide training to improve employment opportunities and higher education prospects. Moreover, students have access to library resources for competitive exam preparation.

He noted that MJPTBC students have also achieved success in sports at district, state and national levels. He urged parents to enrol their children in residential institutions for quality education and discipline.
