Hyderabad: A minor driving allegation sparked controversy in the Gandipet area after videos circulating on social media appeared to show a girl driving a car while a police officer travelled with her. The incident reportedly took place on the Gandhamguda–Bairagiguda main road on Sunday. Authorities had not issued an official response at the time of writing.
According to local residents, traffic congestion developed on the busy stretch, prompting people to check the vehicle involved. They claimed a minor girl was sitting behind the steering wheel of a Swift car. When some residents stopped the vehicle and questioned the occupants, an argument reportedly broke out between the girl and the police officer accompanying her.
