Minister Seethakka urges voters to back Congress in Jubilee Hills, says BRS win won’t benefit people
Hyderabad: Minister Seethakka said that if a BRS candidate wins in Jubilee Hills, it will bring no benefit to the people of the constituency. She made these remarks while addressing a street-corner meeting at Jyothinagar Colony in Borabanda on Friday as part of her campaign for Congress candidate Naveen Yadav.
Minister Seethakka Congress Jubilee Hills campaign
Seethakka appealed to voters to support the Congress symbol “hand” and ensure Naveen Yadav’s victory. She said development in Jubilee Hills was neglected even after the BRS won the seat three times. Therefore, she argued, only a Congress win could bring real progress to the area.
The minister said the Congress government has been working as a pro-poor administration. It provides free rice, free transport for women, domestic gas cylinders for ₹500, and free electricity to eligible families. She added that the government has sanctioned 4.5 lakh houses since taking office.
Women’s development under Congress
Highlighting welfare schemes for women, Seethakka said the Congress government was strengthening self-help groups across Telangana. She stated that banks had extended ₹27,000 crore in loans to women’s associations and that the government was offering insurance cover for loans and accidents.
She accused the BRS of failing to deliver development during its time in power. In contrast, she said Naveen Yadav had continued to serve people even after losing two previous elections. According to her, Yadav’s commitment proved that he alone could drive progress in Jubilee Hills.
Seethakka urged residents to vote for Congress if they wanted homes and welfare schemes and warned that voting for others would only bring “tears, not results.”
