KTR targets CM Revanth Reddy during BRS joining event

Hyderabad: BRS working president K T Rama Rao launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He claimed that even a single press meet by former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao unsettled the Chief Minister.

Speaking at a party joining programme at Telangana Bhavan, KTR said Revanth Reddy could not withstand KCR’s presence in the Assembly. He made the remarks during the induction of Alwyn division Congress leader Dosala Anil into the BRS. KTR welcomed him by draping the party scarf.

KTR dismissed criticism over his education. He said learning multiple languages was a strength. He also mocked Revanth Reddy’s political background and made sarcastic remarks against Congress leaders.

KTR questions Revanth Reddy’s promises and governance

KTR said KCR delivered Telangana statehood and asserted that he would always proudly take his father’s name. According to him, the BRS would defeat Revanth Reddy in Kodangal.

Targeting the Chief Minister’s remarks, KTR accused him of setting a poor public example. He warned that such language could negatively influence children.

Referring to irrigation projects, KTR said KCR questioned delays in the Palamuru–Rangareddy project. He stated that KCR sought irrigation even after partial completion. He also said KCR demanded clarity on Telangana’s share in Krishna river waters.

KTR accused Revanth Reddy of failing to honour election promises. He recalled assurances on Kalyana Lakshmi assistance and financial support to women. He questioned whether the budget could support claims of making one crore women millionaires.

KTR further alleged that Revanth Reddy depended heavily on the Delhi leadership. He criticised the government over pending fee reimbursements and women welfare payments. He urged the Chief Minister to fulfil promises instead of making new claims.
