Komatireddy launches ₹339.39 crore HAM road projects in Gadwal

Hyderabad: Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Monday launched HAM road projects worth ₹339.39 crore at Dharur in Gadwal Assembly constituency.

The projects will follow the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM). Meanwhile, the Minister said the state government aimed to build world-class roads across Telangana. He said the government wanted to set a benchmark for the country.

HAM road projects to strengthen rural connectivity

Komatireddy said the HAM model ensured high-quality construction and long-term durability. Further, he said contractors would remain responsible for long-term maintenance. This system, he added, would help maintain high standards throughout the maintenance period.

The Minister said the upgraded roads would improve transport links to every village. Additionally, he said better connectivity would speed up the movement of agricultural produce and commercial goods. He added that the projects would further strengthen rural connectivity across the region.

Tourism and Excise Minister Jupally Krishna Rao attended the programme. Gadwal MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy, MLA Veerlapalli Shankar, Corporation Chairperson Saritha Tirupatayya Yadav and senior officials also participated.
