Kishan Reddy flags off first DEMU train from Komuravelli Punyakshetram station

Hyderabad: Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy flagged off the first DEMU Train No. 77654 from the newly inaugurated Komuravelli railway station, marking the beginning of passenger rail services for the region.

Following the flag-off ceremony at Komuravelli Punyakshetram Station, the Union Minister purchased the first passenger ticket. He described the occasion as the start of a new chapter in rail connectivity for the area.

The inaugural train service is expected to improve transportation for residents and pilgrims travelling to the Komuravelli temple. The event formed part of the commissioning of the newly inaugurated railway station in Telangana.

Additionally, Kishan Reddy highlighted the significance of expanding rail infrastructure in the region. He said improved connectivity would benefit local communities and make travel more convenient for passengers.

South Central Railway officials also participated in the inaugural programme. The launch marked the commencement of regular passenger operations from Komuravelli station.
