Hyderabad: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu offered special prayers to Goddess Nallapoocamma during the Bonalu festival at Praja Bhavan and prayed for the state’s prosperity and the well-being of its people.
Bhatti Vikramarka participated in the traditional celebrations along with his family members. He described Bonalu as a festival that reflects Telangana’s rich culture and traditions.
State ministers Konda Surekha, Dhanasari Seethakka, Ponnam Prabhakar and Vakiti Srihari also attended the celebrations with their families. They performed special pujas to Goddess Nallapoocamma during the religious event.

Additionally, the Deputy Chief Minister prayed for peace, prosperity and happiness across Telangana. He sought the blessings of Goddess Nallapoocamma for the state’s continued development and the health and long life of its people.
The Bonalu festival is one of Telangana’s prominent traditional celebrations and is dedicated to various forms of Goddess Mahakali. The event at Praja Bhavan brought together ministers and their families for the customary rituals.
