Hyderabad: Former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Tuesday chaired a key BRS strategy meeting at his farmhouse in Erravelli to discuss organisational strengthening and future political plans.
The BRS strategy meeting was attended by party working president K T Rama Rao along with senior leaders, general secretaries and deputy floor leaders from the Assembly and Legislative Council.
Senior leaders T Harish Rao, P Sabitha Indra Reddy and Talasani Srinivas Yadav were present during the discussions. Legislative Council members S Madhusudhanachari, L Ramana and Pochampally Srinivas Reddy also attended the meeting.
Several party general secretaries, former MPs, MLCs and senior leaders participated in the BRS strategy meeting. Retired IPS officer R S Praveen Kumar was also among those present.
BRS strategy meeting focuses on organisation strengthening
The meeting mainly focused on strengthening the party organisation across Telangana. Leaders discussed plans to accelerate the membership enrolment drive and improve coordination at different levels within the party.
The BRS strategy meeting also reviewed the appointment of party in-charges in various constituencies and districts. Leaders discussed measures to reinforce the party structure at the grassroots level.
According to party sources, the discussions centred on expanding organisational activity and increasing outreach among party workers. The leadership also reviewed preparations for future political programmes.
The meeting assumed significance as the BRS leadership intensified efforts to strengthen the party after the Assembly elections. Senior leaders exchanged views on improving cadre participation and expanding membership activities across the state.
