Hyderabad: GHMC officials on Tuesday reviewed the progress of Pre-SIR mapping activities in the 58-Malakpet Assembly constituency following directions issued by GHMC Commissioner and District Election Officer RV Karnan.
The review meeting on Pre-SIR mapping was chaired by Assistant Commissioner (Election) Chandrakala. Electoral Registration Officers, Assistant Electoral Registration Officers and BLO Supervisors attended the meeting.
During the review, officials focused on accurate voter data verification, booth-level mapping and timely completion of all Pre-SIR mapping activities.
Officials were instructed to improve coordination at the field level for smooth implementation of the exercise. The review also stressed close monitoring of Booth Level Officers during the process.

Chandrakala directed officials to ensure strict adherence to Election Commission guidelines during the Pre-SIR exercise.
She emphasised the importance of maintaining accuracy in voter-related data and strengthening supervision mechanisms during field operations.
Officials discussed measures to improve monitoring and coordination among election staff working in the constituency. The meeting also reviewed the status of booth-level verification activities.
The review was conducted as part of ongoing efforts to complete Pre-SIR activities within the stipulated timeframe.
