Hyderabad: The Telangana government ordered IPS officers’ transfers, with Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao issuing directives for promotions and new postings to strengthen administration and law enforcement.
The orders, issued on Saturday, covered nine IPS officers at the ASP level. The government said the IPS officers’ transfers aimed to improve law and order management and administrative convenience. It directed all officers to assume their new responsibilities immediately.
As part of the reshuffle, Asifabad ASP S. Chittaranjan was promoted and posted as Additional SP (Administration) in the same district. Kamareddy ASP Bokka Chaitanya Reddy was transferred as Sangareddy Additional SP (Administration), while C.H. Raghunandan Rao was shifted from that post.
Jangaon ASP Chetan Nitin was appointed as Jagtial Additional SP (Administration). Bhadrachalam ASP Vikrant Kumar Singh was posted as Medak Additional SP (Administration), with Mahender moved out of the role.
District-wise IPS officers’ transfers and postings are detailed
Warangal ASP Nagrale Shubham Prakash was appointed as Nizamabad Additional DCP (Administration), while G. Baswa Reddy was transferred from the district. Bhainsa Additional SP Rajesh Meena was posted as Wanaparthy Additional SP (Administration), and P. Mounika was assigned as Adilabad Additional SP (Administration).
Nirmal ASP Pattipaka Sai Kiran was transferred as Bhainsa ASP/SDPO. Vemulawada ASP Ruthwik Sai Kothe of Rajanna Sircilla district was posted as Utnoor ASP/SDPO.
The government directed officers, including Raghunandan Rao, Mahender, and Baswa Reddy, to report to the DGP office following their transfers.
Separately, Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao and Advocate General A Sudarshan Reddy met Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Raj Bhavan. They discussed administrative and legal matters related to the state.
