Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka reviewed preparations for the Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026 on Wednesday. He directed officials to make comprehensive arrangements for the December 7-9 event.
The State government planned the summit to attract large-scale investments to Telangana. Bhatti asked officials to coordinate closely and work towards making the event successful.
“This is a historic occasion that will take Telangana’s future and economic growth to new heights. Every official must actively participate and work with commitment to make the summit a grand success,” he said.
Bhatti chaired the preparatory meeting at the State Secretariat. Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu, N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Azharuddin and Adluri Laxman attended the meeting. Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju and other senior officials also participated.
Invest Telangana Global Summit action plan finalised
Bhatti reviewed arrangements, publicity plans and proposed roadshows for the summit. Officials also finalised a detailed action plan during the meeting. He directed departments to maintain close coordination while implementing the plans. The government aimed to use the summit to position Telangana as a leading global investment destination.
Bhatti said the event would mark the second global investment summit after the formation of the Praja Palana government. He asked officials to use the event to build a strong foundation for Telangana’s comprehensive development.
The Deputy Chief Minister also highlighted the State government’s long-term economic target. He said the government was working to transform Telangana into a $3 trillion economy by 2047.
The government constituted around 10 special committees to oversee different aspects of the summit. Senior officials formed part of these committees. A senior officer headed each committee, Bhatti said.
The committees will oversee preparations for the three-day event and coordinate the responsibilities assigned to them.
