Hyderabad: Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju reviewed preparations for the Invest Telangana Global Summit at a high-level meeting on Monday. The summit is scheduled to take place from December 7 to 9.
Jaju held the meeting with senior officials at the Secretariat and reviewed arrangements across various departments. He also assessed the progress of preparations for the global investment event.
The Chief Secretary directed officials to complete all arrangements within the approved timelines. He stressed the need for coordinated efforts to ensure the summit is conducted successfully.
Jaju also called for strong participation from leading companies operating in Telangana. He directed officials to ensure prominent companies with a presence in the State receive appropriate representation on the summit’s Advisory Board or Executive Council.
The Chief Secretary further instructed officials to invite global heads of leading multinational companies. He called for a targeted and multipronged outreach strategy to engage corporate leaders worldwide.
Officials were asked to encourage global corporate participation in the summit. The outreach programme will focus on presenting Telangana as an investment destination to international business leaders.
As part of the international campaign, Jaju directed officials to conduct roadshows in major foreign countries during October. The events will highlight Telangana’s investment potential and business-friendly ecosystem.
The roadshows will also showcase the State’s sectoral strengths and available investment opportunities. Officials will use the international events to engage global investors and corporate leaders.
Invest Telangana Global Summit outreach to expand
Jaju also directed officials to organise a roadshow in New Delhi during the last week of October. The event will form part of the investor mobilisation and outreach programme.
The international roadshows will complement the planned domestic outreach ahead of the summit. Officials will focus on attracting participation from leading multinational companies and global corporate leaders.
Meanwhile, the Chief Secretary reviewed preparations being undertaken by different departments. He instructed officials to maintain the approved timelines while completing the required arrangements.
