Hyderabad rowdy-sheeter murder caught on CCTV

Hyderabad: A rowdy-sheeter murder near Anand Nagar crossroads in Bandlaguda was captured on CCTV, police said. The incident occurred under Nagole police station limits.

The victim was identified as Mohammed Naheem, a native of Illendu in Khammam district. He had been staying at Sahabhavana Apartments in Bandlaguda.

Police suspect that U Mahesh, alias JK Mahesh, killed Naheem over an old dispute. Both men belonged to Illendu town and had studied together since childhood.

The two had remained close friends for years. However, a dispute over money earned through settlements had reportedly caused friction between them.

According to the available information, the dispute had intensified over the past three months. The rivalry eventually led to the fatal attack.

Both men reportedly faced several murder cases. They also had rowdy sheets opened against them at the Illendu police station.
