Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has written to Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy seeking support to arrange a meeting with Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on issues related to the Hyderabad Metro Rail project.
In his letter dated June 20, the Chief Minister referred to his earlier communication sent on June 16.
He highlighted the need to resolve issues related to IRFC financing and Metro Rail Phase-II.
Further, Revanth Reddy informed Kishan Reddy that he would visit New Delhi on June 22 and 23.
He requested a meeting with the Railway Minister during the visit.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister said the proposed meeting would help both sides discuss pending matters directly.
He said the discussions would allow officials to place all relevant facts on record.
Additionally, Revanth Reddy said he would submit copies of agreements and supporting documents during the meeting.
He described the metro project as a critical urban infrastructure initiative for Hyderabad and Telangana.
The Chief Minister stressed that authorities must resolve the pending issues at the earliest.
He said timely decisions would help meet the city’s growing transportation needs.
Revanth Reddy also requested Kishan Reddy to facilitate the meeting and communicate the schedule at the earliest.
