Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said discussions with Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on IRFC funding Hyderabad Metro yielded a positive outcome.
The Chief Minister met the Railway Minister in New Delhi along with Union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy.
The meeting focused on securing financial support from the Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC) for the Hyderabad Metro project.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Revanth Reddy said the discussions progressed in a positive manner.
He indicated that the talks provided encouragement on the issue of IRFC funding for the metro project.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister said he would meet Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday morning.
He said the discussions would continue on matters related to the Hyderabad Metro project.
The state government is pursuing support from the Centre on key financing issues linked to the expansion of Hyderabad Metro.
