HETC Foods launches Navdhan sprouted millet powders in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: HETC Foods Private Limited on Monday launched Navdhan, a new line of sprouted millet powders designed to simplify millet cooking and improve digestion for today’s households.

The company introduced the brand at a press conference at the FTCCI–OBT board room in Red Hills. Currently, Navdhan is available in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Soon, it will expand nationwide via e-commerce platforms, retail outlets, and the company’s website.

Science-driven millet made for modern kitchens

Co-founders Sai Srinivas Vavilala and Srinivas Garimella explained how Navdhan addresses two common issues—slow preparation and digestive discomfort. The brand uses a controlled sprouting technique that reduces anti-nutrients like phytates and tannins. As a result, it helps the body absorb minerals more efficiently.

Vavilala called the product a fusion of Indian nutrition and food engineering. Garimella highlighted that it supports the national Shree Anna movement and promotes eco-friendly diets.

HETC Foods manufactures Navdhan at its advanced facility in Hyderabad. The brand aims to offer a science-backed alternative to traditional millet formats. It also adds to Hyderabad’s reputation as a growing hub for food technology.

With this launch, the company hopes to make healthy eating more convenient for consumers by offering a ready-to-use, nutrient-rich millet option.
