Komatireddy says govt aims for prosperity of every family

Hyderabad: Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said the government was committed to ensuring the prosperity of every family, linking development initiatives with welfare and community progress.

He made the statement while attending Vasavi Matha Jayanti celebrations in Nalgonda on Sunday. The Minister participated as the chief guest at events held at Ramakoti Stupa Temple in Beat Market and at Gandhi Park.

Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said the first official observance of the Jayanti after the formation of the present government carried special significance. He added that development and welfare efforts were being undertaken with a focus on inclusive growth.

Announcing key initiatives, he said ₹500 crore had been allocated for the development of Basara and Kaleshwaram temples, as well as for Godavari Pushkarams. He also stated that long-pending assurances related to Ramakoti Temple had been fulfilled, including allocation of 120 square yards of land and an additional 120 square yards for expansion, along with a Dhwajasthambam.

The prosperity of every family is linked to temple and town development

The Minister said the promise of establishing a fruit market in front of the temple had been fulfilled. He added that work at the Ramalayam was progressing and would be completed up to the Uttar Dwara Darshan by next year.

Komatireddy Venkat Reddy participated in Kumkumarchana and Abhishekam rituals conducted by the Arya Vysya community at Gandhi Park. He assured full support for the reconstruction of park facilities and said road access issues would be resolved after the relocation of the DMHO office.

He further announced that development works at Ramalayam, Anjaneya Swamy Temple, and the Shiva temple at Brahmangari Gutta would be completed within two months with an outlay of ₹100 crore.

Highlighting support for traders, he said steps had already been initiated to develop Prakasham Bazaar. He added that more measures would follow to strengthen local business activity.

The Minister reiterated that achieving prosperity of every family remained the government’s priority through a mix of infrastructure development, religious initiatives, and civic improvements.
