Hyderabad: The GHMC Prajavani grievances programme received 60 complaints on Monday, August 24, with the civic body’s Head Office accounting for 41 cases.
GHMC conducted the public grievance programme at its Head Office in the presence of senior officials. The programme allowed citizens to place their complaints before the civic administration.
Among the zones, Shamshabad recorded the highest number with nine grievances. Secunderabad followed with five complaints, while Rajendranagar received three. Charminar Zone recorded two grievances. However, Golconda and Khairatabad zones did not receive any complaints during the programme.

The GHMC Commissioner attended the programme along with the Additional Commissioner for Administration. The Additional Superintendent of Police for Vigilance also participated.
Other officials included the Additional Commissioner for UCD and Estates and the Chief City Planner. The Chief Engineer and Chief Veterinary Officer also attended the programme.
In addition, the Joint Commissioner for Revenue and two Additional Chief City Planners participated. The Chief Medical Officer of Health and officials handling Land Acquisition were also present. Of the 60 GHMC Prajavani grievances received, the Head Office accounted for more than two-thirds of the total.
Shamshabad Zone received nine complaints, while Secunderabad recorded five. Rajendranagar accounted for three and Charminar received two. Meanwhile, no grievances came from Golconda or Khairatabad zones during the August 24 programme.
