Free UPSC coaching for minority students announced in Telangana

Hyderabad: The Telangana Minorities Study Circle announced free UPSC coaching for minority students for the Civil Services Examination 2027.

The programme will run for the academic year 2026–27 under the Department of Minorities Welfare. It aims to provide quality training and support to eligible candidates.

Free UPSC coaching programme details

The free UPSC coaching programme will offer digital classrooms and expert faculty support. It will also provide library access and Wi-Fi facilities.

Additionally, officials are considering accommodation for selected candidates. Admissions will take place through a merit-based screening test.

The programme will reserve 33.33 percent seats for women candidates. It will also allocate five percent seats for physically challenged applicants.

Candidates can submit online applications from May 7. The last date for submission is May 31.

Authorities will conduct the screening test on June 14. First-time applicants must appear for the test at designated centres.

The test will take place at minority residential schools across district headquarters in Telangana.

Eligibility criteria for free UPSC coaching

Applicants must belong to minority communities, including Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Jain, Buddhist or Parsi groups. They must hold a general or professional degree.

The annual family income must not exceed Rs.5 lakh. Selection will depend on merit in the screening test.
