Hyderabad: A Bhu Bharati server crash halted land registrations across Telangana, disrupting sale, purchase, and mutation processes statewide.
The outage affected the newly launched Bhu Bharati portal from Tuesday morning. As a result, hundreds of registrations remained pending across the state.
Due to the disruption, people waited for long hours at sub-registrar offices. Many buyers and sellers who travelled from distant places faced difficulties.

The Bhu Bharati server also stopped services such as mutations, slot bookings, and Encumbrance Certificate downloads. Consequently, officials could not complete any registrations during the day.
The land transfer process remained stalled as the software did not function. Meanwhile, concerns grew among the public over the prolonged outage.
Officials said the issue may have resulted from heavy server traffic or technical faults. However, they did not confirm the exact cause.
Revenue department sources said technical teams were working to restore services. They expected the system to return to normal soon.
In the meantime, officials urged the public to remain patient. However, many visitors expressed frustration over repeated technical issues.
They called on the government to improve the portal’s capacity. Overall, the Bhu Bharati crash raised concerns about system reliability.
