Hyderabad: Police arrested four persons in a Hyderabad vehicle theft case and recovered 10 stolen two-wheelers during a coordinated operation on April 23.
The Special Crime Team of CCS, along with Gandhi Nagar police, apprehended the accused at MM Pahadi in Attapur following specific intelligence inputs.
The arrested individuals were identified as Mohammed Riyaz, Syed Ahmed Ali, Mohammed Fardeen, and a 17-year-old minor. All are residents of Hyderabad.
According to police, the accused were involved in multiple two-wheeler thefts across the city. They were tracked through sustained surveillance and monitoring of their social media activity.

Investigators stated that the team gathered information through informants and closely observed the suspects’ movements. Subsequently, officers traced their location and arrested them during morning hours.
During questioning, the accused confessed to committing 10 vehicle thefts. These offences were reported within the limits of Balanagar, Gandhi Nagar, Kollur, and Attapur police stations.
Police recovered 10 stolen vehicles from the accused. The seized property included eight Honda Dio bikes, one Hero Glamour, and one Bajaj Pulsar NS-200.
The operation was led by Inspector Ch. Sudhakar Rao of the Special Crime Team. It was conducted under the supervision of senior officers from CCS, Hyderabad.
