Hyderabad: Malkajgiri MP Eatala Rajender urged motorists not to park vehicles on roadsides after a fatal accident near Shamshabad claimed nine lives from a single family.
Responding to the tragedy, he said road accidents were tearing families apart regardless of whether the cause was overspeeding, negligence, or driver fatigue. He noted that despite repeated safety slogans such as valuing life over speed, they remained limited to words and failed to influence behavior on the ground.
Eatala stressed that every driver must remember that their family waits for them at home. He warned that careless roadside parking was endangering other road users and could lead to fatal consequences. He said such negligence often resulted in the loss of innocent lives.
Roadside parking warning after Shamshabad accident
Referring to the Shamshabad incident, Eatala Rajender described the deaths of nine members from one family as deeply shocking. He expressed condolences and prayed for the victims’ souls.
Eatala called on the police to take strict action against those who park vehicles on roadsides in violation of safety norms. He insisted that such practices must be curbed immediately to prevent further loss of life.
Furthermore, he said preventing such accidents was a shared responsibility. He urged citizens to follow traffic rules strictly and act responsibly while driving to ensure public safety.
