Hyderabad: BJP MP Eatala Rajender on Thursday flagged off the Samajika Rath Yatra launched by Rashtriya Lok Dal (TRLD) President and former MLC Kapilavai Dileep Kumar at Gun Park. The campaign aims to highlight the continued political exclusion of BC, SC, and ST communities in Telangana.
Eatala stated that although these communities make up 90% of the population, they are still denied a share in state power. He pledged full support for Dileep Kumar’s awareness drive, which seeks to build public pressure for social justice.
Leaders urge unity among marginalized groups
Professor Gali Vinod described Dileep Kumar as a committed Telangana activist. He appealed to historically disadvantaged groups to unite and demand equitable political representation.
Former IAS officer Chiranjeevulu noted that only a united Bahujan front can correct systemic injustices. He stressed that the yatra symbolizes a broader struggle for equal power-sharing in governance.
Social activist Vimalakka criticized the Congress government for continuing policies of exploitation. Meanwhile, Professor Laxman praised Dileep Kumar’s inclusive outreach, which crosses caste boundaries.
Empowering underrepresented communities through the yatra
TRLD National Women President Indira said the yatra encourages people from low-income and socially excluded backgrounds to take political control. She urged young people to get involved and spread the campaign’s message.
Several TRLD state leaders, including Gari Kundi, Mallesh Muddam, Pai Rishat Jain, Prasad, and John, also attended the launch. The Bullet Venkanna art group added a cultural performance to the event.
