Cyberabad Municipal Corporation reviews civic issues in Shamshiguda, Allwyn Colony

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation reviewed civic issues in Shamshiguda and Allwyn Colony wards under its One Ward Every Day programme. The Commissioner led the inspection along with the local MLA, Zonal Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner and officials from various departments.

The team visited Shamshiguda and Allwyn Colony wards in the Allwyn Colony Circle of Kukatpally Zone. During the visit, the Commissioner interacted with Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) and reviewed public grievances.

Residents raised issues related to sewerage, drinking water supply, roads, streetlights, garbage collection and sanitation services.

The Commissioner directed officials to prepare spraying and gang sweeping schedules. Furthermore, officials must share the schedules with Resident Welfare Associations.

He also ordered the deployment of new electric vehicles for door-to-door waste collection. Each vehicle will serve around 450 to 500 households.

The Commissioner instructed all concerned departments to resolve the identified civic issues before the next ward visit. Meanwhile, officials must fix timelines for every grievance and provide regular status updates to residents.

Officials from the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB), Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL), the sanitation wing and other line departments participated in the programme.
