Hyderabad: Hyderabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar expressed anguish over a Vikarabad incident in which a daughter killed her parents for her lover.
Referring to the shocking crime in Yacharam village of Batwaram mandal, Sajjanar said the daughter poisoned her parents using a toxic injection. He said the incident had shaken the conscience of society across the state.
Sajjanar said it was heartbreaking that a child killed the father who guided her steps and the mother who nurtured her with care. He said the crime forced society to bow its head in shame.

In a post on X, Sajjanar said relationships formed through social media and temporary attractions had driven the youth onto a dangerous path. He said love gained by destroying family bonds never remains permanent.
Sajjanar said parents were not just a responsibility but an emotion. He said no one in the world could replace them once lost.
He said committing such acts at an age meant for responsibility reflected moral collapse and urged youth to control momentary impulses and stay away from destructive choices.
