Hyderabad: Cyberabad Municipal Corporation marked the 80th CMC Independence Day celebrations at its head office with a national flag hoisting and recognition of employees for dedicated public service.
The CMC Commissioner joined department heads and staff for the celebrations. Together, they commemorated India’s independence and remembered the sacrifices of freedom fighters.
The programme included the hoisting of the national flag and rendition of the National Anthem. Moreover, officials paid tribute to freedom fighters who contributed to India’s independence. Employees from different departments also participated in the programme with patriotic spirit.
CMC Independence Day recognises employee contributions
During the celebrations, the corporation recognised employees who had demonstrated dedication in their work. CMC appreciated staff members for their contributions to serving citizens and strengthening civic services. In addition, the programme highlighted the role of municipal employees in improving service delivery.
The Commissioner appreciated the commitment and efforts of the entire CMC workforce. Furthermore, the Commissioner encouraged employees to continue performing their responsibilities with dedication and accountability. Officials were also asked to maintain a strong sense of public service.
