Hyderabad: The Commissioner of Cyberabad Municipal Corporation reviewed RC Puram civic works under the “One Ward Every Day” initiative on Monday.
The field inspection was conducted in RC Puram ward of Ameenpur Circle in Serilingampally Zone. During the visit, the Commissioner examined key civic issues and ongoing works.
He interacted with residents and verified conditions on the ground. The review focused on resolving issues and improving service delivery.

At Kakatiya Nagar Park, residents sought a street light meter and improved maintenance. The Commissioner directed the Deputy Commissioner to coordinate with the Electricity Department.
He also instructed that maintenance works be taken up without delay. Meanwhile, at the Community Hall, a request was made for first-floor construction.
The Commissioner directed officials to prepare estimates and submit them for approval. Further, a proposal was discussed to shift the Municipal Circle Office.
He instructed officials to prepare a location sketch map for review. The proposal involves relocating the office to the MPDO building in RC Puram.
At Raya Samudram Lake, the Commissioner reviewed development progress. He noted that ₹15 crore had been sanctioned by HMDA and tenders were completed.
He directed immediate removal of water hyacinth from the lake. In addition, he asked the Deputy Commissioner to hold a joint meeting with BHEL officials.
The meeting, he said, should address pending issues related to the lake. He also reviewed sanitation and the 99 Days Action Plan.
He examined door-to-door waste collection and its effectiveness. Moreover, he identified garbage vulnerable points and ordered preventive measures.
He stressed strict implementation of activities under the action plan. Finally, he directed officials to complete works within timelines and expedite execution.
The visit emphasised citizen interaction and timely resolution of issues. It aimed to strengthen on-ground implementation across wards.
