Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday extended Bonalu greetings to the people of Telangana as the Ashada festival began with the first Bonam at the Sri Jagadamba Mahankali Temple atop Golconda Fort.
He prayed that Goddess Jagadamba Mahankali would bless every family with good health, prosperity, peace and happiness.
The Chief Minister described Bonalu as a symbol of Telangana’s rich culture and traditions. He said the festival also reflected devotion, strength and unity.
Further, Revanth Reddy expressed hope that every Bonam offered with unwavering faith would bring prosperity and happiness. He also wished that every prayer would fill people’s lives with courage and success.
Finally, he prayed that the blessings of Goddess Sri Jagadamba Mahankali would always remain with the people. He conveyed his heartfelt Bonalu greetings to all.
