BJP pushes startup culture to turn youth into job creators

Hyderabad: Telangana BJP state president N. Ramchander Rao said the Centre intensified its startup culture push to transform youth from job seekers into job creators.

Addressing a gathering at a job mela organised by Dr. Shobha Foundation on Wednesday, he urged young people to move beyond reliance on government jobs. He stressed the need to adopt entrepreneurship as a sustainable path.

He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for promoting the startup culture push through flagship initiatives. These included Startup India and Stand-Up India, which aimed to support emerging entrepreneurs.

Startup culture push highlights central schemes

N. Ramchander Rao said the Centre also empowered women entrepreneurs through the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana. He noted that these initiatives created opportunities for youth across sectors.

Hundreds of candidates from diverse fields attended the job mela. Moreover, several participants received on-the-spot job offers during the event.

He said such platforms effectively bridged the gap between recruiters and job seekers. Therefore, they helped improve employment access while encouraging entrepreneurial thinking.

N. Ramchander Rao reiterated the government’s commitment to implementing women’s reservation legislation. He said the Bill would be introduced again in Parliament.

He added that the Prime Minister had clearly stated the legislation would be implemented. According to him, this would further strengthen women’s participation in economic and public life.
