Bandi Sanjay mocks Congress-BRS feud as ‘Bigg Boss’ show

Hyderabad: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay mocked the ongoing political confrontation between the Congress and the BRS, comparing it to the reality television show Bigg Boss. He accused leaders of both parties of staging political drama instead of addressing issues concerning the people.

In a post on X, the Union Minister alleged that Congress and BRS leaders had rehearsed their exchanges in advance. He also claimed they deserved an Oscar for their performances and accused both sides of misleading the public. According to him, the people of Telangana were watching the political drama unfold with amusement.

Bandi Sanjay throws debate challenge

Meanwhile, he challenged the Congress and the BRS to a public debate on Gurukul tenders, State borrowings and alleged corruption. He said the BJP’s Telangana unit would decide the date, time and venue for the discussion.

Further, he said the same platform could also host a debate on the funds allocated to Telangana and the welfare schemes implemented by the Narendra Modi-led Central government. He maintained that the BJP was ready to present facts on the Centre’s contribution to the State.

Additionally, he warned that people would reject both parties if they continued with political theatrics. He claimed the public had already decided on a “double elimination” for the Congress and the BRS. He also said the people wanted a “double-engine government” in Telangana.
