Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) raided 11 locations linked to Roads and Buildings Department Engineer-in-Chief (ENC) Mohan Naik on Tuesday as part of a disproportionate assets probe.
ACB officials launched searches at multiple properties in Hyderabad and other places after registering a case against the senior official.
Investigators suspect that Mohan Naik amassed assets disproportionate to his known sources of income during his tenure in the department.

ACB teams carried out simultaneous searches at 11 locations.
One of the key operations took place at Villa No. 98 in a gated community in Miyapur.
DSP Srinivas Reddy supervised the searches.
Authorities restricted access to the premises while the operation remained underway.
Sources said investigators identified property documents, financial records, cash and gold ornaments during the searches.
According to preliminary information, Mohan Naik had earlier faced allegations related to the allocation of road construction tenders.
Complaints alleged irregularities in awarding contracts to contractors.
Based on those complaints, ACB initiated an inquiry and later expanded the investigation.
Meanwhile, officials said the probe was continuing.
The agency has not yet disclosed the total value of the assets identified during the operation.
Officials are expected to release detailed findings after completing the searches and evaluating the seized material.
