ACB books Ranga Reddy official in disproportionate assets case

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday booked K. Srinivasulu, Assistant Director in the Survey Settlement and Land Records department of Ranga Reddy district, in a disproportionate assets case.

According to officials, Srinivasulu allegedly accumulated assets beyond his known sources of income by engaging in corrupt and unlawful practices during his tenure.

ACB teams conducted simultaneous searches on December 4 at his residence in My Home Bhooja, Raidurgam, and at six other premises linked to his relatives and associates.

The searches led to the seizure of one luxury apartment at My Home Bhooja, a rice mill and food processing unit in Narayanpet, and 22 acres of agricultural land located in Karnataka and Anantapur.

Officials also found seven residential plots in Mahabubnagar and Narayanpet, ₹5 lakh in cash, 1.6 kg of gold, 770 grams of silver, a KIA Seltos Hycross, and an Innova car.

The market value of these assets is expected to be substantially higher than the declared value. The ACB has initiated further verification and investigation into the case.
