Hyderabad: Dundigal police arrested three men on Sunday for the brutal murder of a woman at Green Hills Colony in Bahadurpally. The incident took place around 6:00 a.m. on November 8. According to officials, the suspects slit the woman’s throat and escaped in a car.
Woman allegedly blackmailed main accused
Police identified the accused as Boya Rajesh (26), Nadeemodddi Vamshi (24), and Boya Kishan (43), all originally from Kurnool district and residing in Balanagar. Investigators revealed that Kishan was in an illicit relationship with the victim. She had allegedly been blackmailing him using private photos and videos, demanding that he accept her as his second wife.
After committing the murder, the suspects fled the area in a vehicle with registration number TS 08 GF 6828. The murder was reported to police by 12:10 p.m., triggering a swift response.
Police trace and nab suspects within hours
Acting immediately, the Dundigal police formed dedicated teams to locate the trio. By 6:30 p.m. the same day, police apprehended Rajesh and Vamshi at KLH University in Bowrampet. Kishan was later picked up from Bahadurpally.
Investigators also seized three mobile phones and the weapon used in the crime. Officials said the recovery of key evidence was critical to strengthening the case.
Senior officials lead swift operation
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Medchal Zone) N. Koti Reddy oversaw the operation, which was led by Assistant Commissioner of Police Ch. Shankar Reddy. Officers from PS Dundigal, including inspectors and constables, coordinated the arrests and follow-up inquiries.
