TGMREIS results show strong pass percentage in intermediate exams

Hyderabad: Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGMREIS) results recorded strong performance in the Intermediate Public Examinations 2026, with high pass percentages and multiple state ranks.

Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGMREIS) president and vice chairman Mohammed Faheemuddin Qureshi said students delivered commendable results across junior colleges.

In the first-year intermediate, students achieved an 81 per cent pass rate, while second-year students recorded a 90 per cent pass percentage. Moreover, the society secured second position among all residential institutions in Telangana.

Additionally, 41 junior colleges achieved 100 per cent results, and 122 colleges recorded more than 80 per cent pass percentage.

TGMREIS results highlight state ranks and high-performing colleges

Several students secured state ranks in the examinations. For instance, Shameem Nikhat from Jadcherla scored 468 out of 470 in first-year MPC.

Similarly, Ayesha Begum from Asifnagar secured 996 out of 1000 in second-year BiPC, while Md. Raheman from Karimnagar scored 997 out of 1000 in second-year vocational MLT.

Qureshi congratulated principals, lecturers and students for their performance. He also said the government continues to prioritise quality education for minority students.

Furthermore, he urged parents to enroll their children in minority residential institutions for the next academic year. He added that students receive free education, food, healthcare and coaching for competitive exams.

Meanwhile, the society operates 22 Centres of Excellence across districts to provide coaching support. So far, 15,830 students have qualified in competitive exams and secured admissions in premier institutions, including IITs, NITs and medical colleges.
