TGMFC Board approves minority welfare schemes at 29th meeting

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation (TGMFC) approved several ongoing and upcoming welfare schemes for minority communities during the TGMFC Board meeting held on Tuesday. TGMFC Chairman Mohd. Obedullah Kothwal chaired the 29th meeting at the corporation’s head office.

The Board discussed several agenda items related to minority welfare programmes. It approved the proposals after detailed deliberations. B. Shafiullah, Special Secretary to the Government, Minorities Welfare Department, Abdul Hameed, Director of Minorities Welfare, and other Board members attended the meeting.

TGMFC Board meeting reviews welfare initiatives

Later, Minister for Public Enterprises and Minorities Welfare Mohammed Azharuddin felicitated TGMFC General Manager Abdul Hameed. He retired on superannuation on June 30 after completing 41 years of service. The retirement function took place at the TGMFC head office.

The Special Secretary, the Director of Minorities Welfare, the Chairman of the Waqf Board, Abdul Hameed’s family members and TGMFC officers and staff attended the function.

Minister Azharuddin and TGMFC Chairman Obedullah Kothwal appreciated Abdul Hameed’s contribution to the corporation. They wished him good health and success in his retired life.
