Hyderabad: A Minority skill training centre was inaugurated at Shadnagar by Telangana Minorities Finance Corporation Chairman Mohd Obedulla Kothwal to provide free training for women from minority communities.
The centre operates under the TGMFC Skill Development Training Programme. It offers courses in tailoring, mehndi designing, and beautician training for unemployed women. Officials said the initiative aims to improve livelihood opportunities.
Kothwal congratulated Smt. Aliya, owner of Femina Mahila Seva Mandali, for setting up the facility. He said such centres play a key role in promoting self-employment and financial independence among minority women.

He said the programme focused on equipping women with practical skills suited to current needs. He added that expanding such initiatives would support economic empowerment in minority communities.
Municipal Chairman A Baswam, Vice Chairman of the marketing committee Mohd Babar, Sarwar Pasha, Mubarak Ali Khan, Ward Member Shreekanth, Advocate Sabiha Sultana, and other local representatives attended the event. TGMFC staff were also present during the inauguration programme.
