Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka presented ISO certification TGGENCO to the Telangana State Power Generation Corporation.
The ISO 9001:2015 certification recognised the organisation’s quality management systems, efficiency and continuous improvement. The presentation took place on Tuesday night.
Energy Special Secretary Naveen Mittal supervised the event. TGGENCO Chairman and Managing Director Harish received the certificate.
The ISO certification TGGENCO followed a comprehensive audit by an independent certification body. The audit team examined all departments and operational units in detail.
ISO certification TGGENCO confirms quality standards
The evaluation focused on compliance with ISO documentation and department performance. It also assessed operational effectiveness and achievement of organisational objectives.
Auditors reviewed the implementation of quality management systems across the corporation. They confirmed that all departments followed international standards and best practices.
Approval was granted after verifying compliance across units. The ISO certification TGGENCO marked international recognition for the organisation.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhatti Vikramarka said the certification reflected high-quality services and strong management systems. He praised the organisation for maintaining standards.
Officials said the certification would improve operational efficiency. They added it would also increase responsibility to deliver better public services.
SPDCL Chairman and Managing Director Jitendra V. Patil attended the event. ISO representative Shivayya was also present.
