Gandhi Nagar Police Station receives ISO 9001:2015 certification

Hyderabad: Gandhi Nagar Police Station achieved a major milestone by receiving the ISO 9001:2015 certification in recognition of its citizen-centric services, administrative efficiency and upgraded infrastructure.

The police station earned the certification after undertaking a series of improvements aimed at enhancing public service delivery and workplace standards. Inspector N. Bose Kiran led the transformation initiative and oversaw the modernization of the station.

DCP Secunderabad Zone Rashita Krishnamurthy inaugurated the renovated premises. Additionally, Additional DCP J. Narasiah, ACP A. Yadagiri and other senior officials attended the programme.

Gandhi Nagar Police Station upgrades focus on public services

As part of the modernization drive, officials systematically organized files, FIR records and case property rooms. They also renovated the station’s interior and exterior and installed energy-efficient LED lighting.

Further, the police station addressed drainage and leakage issues through waterproofing measures. Officials also removed and relocated abandoned and seized vehicles to create additional operational space.

Moreover, authorities established a dedicated reception area for visitors and improved seating facilities for citizens. They also upgraded staff barracks and rest areas to improve working conditions.

Meanwhile, officials launched several eco-friendly initiatives across the premises. They installed vertical planter pots and air-purifying plants and also pruned overgrown trees to improve ventilation and natural light.

Additionally, senior officers participated in a plantation drive to promote greenery within the station premises.

Consequently, the station now reflects improved administrative standards, enhanced public facilities and a greener working environment.
